as you explore Uganda’s East and North. Trek, paddle, and hike your way through
stunning landscapes while engaging with local communities through cultural
exchanges, educational projects, and sustainability initiatives. Designed for

DETAILED itinerary
Day 1: Kampala to Jinja – Adventure Begins
Start your trip with a drive to Jinja, stopping at Mabira Forest for a short
hike. Choose between white-water rafting, quad biking, or horseback riding by
the Nile. Enjoy dinner with a local family. Day 2: Mbale – Sipi Trek & Community Visit
Trek through Sipi’s trails to three stunning waterfalls, meet coffee farmers,
and take part in an eco-farming demo. Afternoon visit to a community
cooperative for a permaculture workshop. 
Day 3: Soroti – Cultural Connections
Arrive in Soroti, where you’ll engage with Teso communities. Participate in
cooking sessions, traditional dance, and storytelling. Sleep in eco-lodges run
by local women cooperatives. 
Day 4: Soroti to Gulu – Northern Exposure
Travel north, passing rice paddies and remote trading centers. Arrive in Gulu
in time for an Acholi drumming session and market tour. 
Day 5–6: Gulu – Impact & Exploration
Visit youth empowerment projects and schools supported by SITA Foundation. Help
build a rainwater tank or plant trees with local children.
Optional Day 7: Visit Fort Patiko or participate in a community football
game before departure.
