OVERVIEW
This 5-day safari offers a thrilling mix of savannah wildlife and rainforest primates. Begin at Murchison Falls National Park with sweeping game drives and a boat cruise to the thunderous falls. Then head to Kibale for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience in one of the most primate-rich forests on the planet.
DETAILED itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls NP
Early drive north through the Luweero Triangle. Visit Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary en route. Enter the park via Kichumbanyobo Gate.
Day 2: Game Drive & Boat Safari
Morning game drive in the delta region for lions, elephants, and giraffes. Afternoon boat cruise to the base of the falls with optional hike to the top.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest
Drive south to Kibale, with views of tea plantations and local villages. Arrive and relax at a forest lodge.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland
Guided chimp trek in the morning, followed by a community-based walk in Bigodi Swamp.
Day 5: Return to Kampala/Entebbe
Leisurely drive back, arriving late afternoon or evening.

Itinerary Highlights
Murchison water fall- Experience the incredible dramatic rush of water plunge of 43meters  gorgedown and 8metres wide of a pool below.
Game Drives- Explore the parks open savannah grasslands, particularly in the northern sector to sport a diverse array of wildlife.  Night game drives optional
Boat Cruises- Encounter numerous hippos, Nile Crocodiles & various water birds while you cruise upstream on Victoria Nile. 
Sundowner Boat Cruises- Enjoy these evening cruises at around 5.30pm that provide beautiful views of the equatorial sunset reflecting on the Nile waters. 
Chimpanzee Tracking – Track chimps in the Budongo  Forest Reserve at the Kaniyo Pabidi which is part of the Murchison Falls Conservation Area.
Bird Watching- Spot over 450 bird species like the Goliath Heron, African Fish Eagle, the rare shoebill stork, white-crested Turaco and various bee eaters.
Hot air Balloons Safaris- Take a panoramic view of the park and its wildlife through the hot air safaris.
Cultural Encounters- Learn the traditions and norms of the local people.  Learn how to weave baskets, dance and stories about the park’s other name “Kabalega”.
