DETAILED itinerary
Day 1: Arrival optional rest day or Transfer to Kibale Forest
Arrive in Entebbe and drive west through scenic landscapes to Kibale Forest. Enjoy a relaxed evening at your forest lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trek & Bigodi Wetland Walk
After breakfast, head into Kibale Forest for an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience. In the afternoon, take a guided walk in Bigodi Wetland to spot more primates and birds.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP & Evening Game Drive
Drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing crater lakes and tea plantations. Enjoy an evening game drive on arrival.
Day 4: Morning Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
Explore the Kasenyi Plains during a morning game drive. Later, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel teeming with hippos, buffalo, crocodiles, and birds.
Day 5: Drive to Bwindi via Ishasha Sector
Transfer through the southern Ishasha sector, known for its tree-climbing lions. Continue to your lodge near Bwindi.
Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Trek into the dense rainforest to find and spend one magical hour with a family of mountain gorillas—an unforgettable highlight. Optional cultural village visit in the evening.
Day 7: Return to Kampala or Entebbe
