DETAILED itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe to Fort Portal
Depart Kampala and drive west to Fort Portal, passing through beautiful tea plantations and rolling hills. Check into your lodge and relax.
Day 2: Fort Portal Crater Lakes & Cultural Tour
Visit the stunning crater lakes around Fort Portal, explore local markets, and learn about the culture of the Toro Kingdom. Evening at leisure.
Day 3: Semuliki National Park & Hot Springs
Drive to Semuliki National Park. Enjoy a nature walk through lowland tropical forest and end the day relaxing in the hot springs known for their healing properties.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
Transfer to Kibale Forest for a morning chimp trek. Experience the lush rainforest and spot a variety of primates and birdlife.
Day 5: Bigodi Wetlands Walk & Transfer to Rwenzori Foothills
Walk the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary to see primates and birds. Later, drive to the Rwenzori foothills area and enjoy scenic views.
Day 6: Rwenzori Foothills Exploration
