This immersive 3-day combo offers a thrilling gorilla trekking experience in the dense jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, followed by a relaxing escape to the serene waters of Lake Bunyonyi. It’s the perfect blend of adrenaline and tranquility, featuring mountain gorillas, canoe rides, and peaceful bird-watching.
DETAILED itinerary
Day 1:  Arrive Entebbe International
Warm welcome to the “ To the Pearl of Africa”.  Meet and greet with the SITA Adventures team and transfer to the lodge for check-in.  Depending on time and date there are options available to tour in Entebbe city.  These include; visiting the gorilla conservation Café, the botanical gardens, Ngamba Island Sanctuary, and the wildlife conservation education center as you ponder over an immersive adventure that awaits…..!!
Day 2 Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Depart Kampala or Kigali early and journey to southwestern Uganda, arriving at your lodge near Bwindi. Briefing for the gorilla trek in the evening.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Early morning gorilla trek with experienced guides. The trek can last from 2–6 hours depending on the gorilla group’s location. After the life-changing encounter, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for dinner and overnight at a lakeside lodge.  
Day 4:  Lake Bunyonyi Canoe & Return
Spend the morning relaxing with a canoe ride or optional bird-watching tour on Lake Bunyonyi, known for its scenic islands and diverse birdlife. After lunch, begin the return journey to Kampala or Kigali.
