Explore Uganda’s largest and oldest national park, home to the iconic Murchison Falls – where the mighty Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge. This 3-day safari includes classic game drives, a spectacular boat cruise to the base of the Falls, and an optional hike to the top for breathtaking views. Wildlife sightings include elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species.
DETAILED itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls NP & Top of the Falls Visit
Depart Kampala/Entebbe and drive north through the scenic countryside. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (optional) for rhino tracking, then continue to the park. Cross the Nile River and enjoy a sunset visit or optional hike to the top of Murchison Falls.
Day 2: Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise
Embark on a morning game drive on the northern bank, spotting elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, and antelopes. In the afternoon, take a boat safari on the Nile to the base of the dramatic Murchison Falls—an unforgettable experience.
Day 3: Optional Game Drive & Return to Kampala
After breakfast, enjoy a final short game drive or nature walk before returning to Kampala. Arrival in the evening.
